- 4 cups filtered water
- 1 cinnamon stick

- 1/2 cup dried rosehips
- 1/2 cup dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 cup honey
Instructions:
- In a large pot, combine the elderberries, water, cinnamon stick, cloves, ginger, rosehips, and hibiscus flowers.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover, and let it simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced by almost half.
- Remove the pot from heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, strain the mixture using a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth, pressing down on the solids to extract as much liquid as possible.
- Stir in the honey until fully dissolved.
- Pour the syrup into sterilized glass bottles or jars and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
